The Addams Family Musical Comedy
Catch the kooky Addams Family on stage in a musical comedy written by the creators of multi award-winning hit musical Jersey Boys, with music and lyrics by Tony Award nominated Andrew Lippa.
Featuring an original story, the musical tells the tale of Wednesday Addams, the princess of darkness, who is all grown up and has a shocking secret that only her father Gomez Addams knows. She has fallen in love with a sweet young man from a normal respectable family, and begs her father not to tell her mother.
Gomez must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
Two different worlds are about to collide. Find out if love will triumph or if everyone will go home vaguely depressed. Join Gomez, Morticia and Wednesday, plus Uncle Fester, Lurch, Pugsley and more for a heart-warming story of love, family and friendship with a twist.
Playing the iconic role of Gomez Addams is established actor Cameron Blakely, who was recently seen in Singapore’s season of Les Misérables as Mr Thenadier. The role of Gomez’s beloved wife Morticia Addams is played by Rebecca Thornbill who joins this show direct from the West End production of Matilda The Musical, playing Mrs Wormwood to great acclaim.
Wednesday Addams is played by Carrie Hope Fletcher, who played Eponine in Les Miserables, and is also an established online influencer with over 446,000 followers on Twitter, over 436,000 on Instagram and over 636,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel “It’sWayPastMyBedTime”.
