The Great Room
Here are 5 things we love about the hotel:
1. Its fun and quirky interiors
Every part of the hotel is Instagram-worthy – from the whimsical dream catchers hanging above every bed to bring on peaceful sleep and sweet dreams, as well as captivating framed art pieces curated by YellowKorner to the quirky mural behind the check-in counter and hats placed at various spots.
Even its fitness centre, possibly the darkest one in town, stands out with its retro tones, brick walls and cement floors inspired by old American boxing gyms. Its design may be vintage but it is equipped with the latest in fitness technology – think Intenza treadmills, bikes and ellipiticals, as well as wellness balls and weights.
The vintage style fitness centre is open 24/7
2. Wallet-friendly drinks @ Ginett
The hotel’s trendy all-day bistro and wine bar on the ground floor serves a selection of French wines from only $6++ per glass and $30++ per bottle all day. Ginett’s wine list includes some of the finest French wines in town and is updated regularly with new additions.
Every last Friday of the month, catch guest DJs spinning the decks from 8.30pm onwards.
Wines range from $6 to $14 per glass at Ginett
3. The fresh, juicy burgers @ 25 Degrees Burgers & Liquour Bar
If you love burgers, you’ll want to sink your teeth in one (or three!) of the five gourmet burgers at this burger joint from the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles. Its name refers to the difference in temperature between a raw and a well-done burger patty.
25 Degrees offers five gourmet burgers including a Veggie Burger
A popular choice is Number One, which has USA Angus beef patty, crescenza, gorgonzola, bacon, caramelised onions and Thousand Island dressing. For fish fans, there’s Number Four, made up of seared yellowfin tuna, lettuce, fried onions and spicy aioli.
You can also craft your own burger with your favourite meats, condiments, sauces, cheeses and toppings.
There’s a Happy Hour from 3pm to 7pm when you can enjoy sides like French Fries, Sweet Potato Fries or Onion Rings for only $5++, house wines from $6++ per glass, selected draft beer from $12++ and cocktails from $14++. There’s also a weekday lunch deal of a burger and fries for $12++.
4. Cool communal areas
If you are travelling alone and don’t mind meeting people, you’re in luck as the hotel loves to connect people. The hotel’s WiFi-enabled communal spaces are designed to encourage networking, socialising or just chilling out.
The communal area on Level 1 next to Ginett is a great spot to work and mingle while enjoying a tipple from the bar. Other cool spaces to hang out include the space next to Ginett’s dining room on the upper level and the reception area.
5. Thoughtful touches
There’s no need to lug water bottles to your room, boil water for your coffee or tea, or wait for your ice to be delivered as there’s a hot and cold water dispenser as well as an ice machine on every floor.
All floors have water and ice dispensers

There’s also a Handy X Phone in every room which you can take with you to make free local and international calls, surf the Internet, and get tips on where to go and what to see and do in Singapore.
The hotel also saves you from having to thumb through the usual hotel directory by posting all the facts, stats and information you need to know about the hotel or its services on a corkboard in your room.
Room rates start from $130++ for a Good Room.
