A Night Of Disco Fun
Disco music fans will not want to miss American disco sensation Village People’s 40th anniversary tour concert.
Best known for chart-topping hits like Y.M.C.A., Go West, In The Navy and Can’t Stop The Music, the 1970s disco music group was originally formed in 1977 by French music composer Jacques Morali. The group’s tremendous impact and influence on music, with sales of over 100 million recordings worldwide, have earned it the title of “Kings of Disco” and a star on the coveted Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Group members performing in Singapore include original founding members Felipe Rose (Native American from 1977) and Alexander Briley (soldier from 1977), Ray Simpson (cop since 1979), Eric Anzalone (biker since 1995), Jim Newman (cowboy since 2013) and Bill Whitefield (construction worker since 2013).
The group will be joined by special guest Björn Again who will be performing ABBA’s timeless hits with glitzy ‘70s stage costumes, Swenglish banter and hilarious stage antics. The successful ABBA tribute band is the only ABBA show endorsed by ABBA male founders Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus.
So get set for a night of outrageous fun with lots of singing and dancing!
