Singapore’s Biggest Carnival: Prudential Marina Bay Carnival
Calling all fans of thrill rides and carnival games! Get set for Prudential Marina Bay Carnival, the country’s biggest carnival.
There are over 40 rides and games – many brought in from European countries including the UK, Germany and Italy – to enjoy at the funfair.
• The Star Flyer
This 35m tall tower ride lets you take in a 360-degree view of the Singapore skyline while experiencing the sensation of flying.
• The Booster Maxx
The tallest ride at the carnival takes you up 55m above ground and spins both clockwise and counter-clockwise at a speed of 96km/hour in 8 seconds.
• Log Flume
Have a splashing good time at this family-friendly classic ride which combines water elements with an amusement park ride. Cruise along the water course, navigate looming climbs before rapid descents and experience the ultimate splashdown.
• Das Fun Schiff (Pirate Ship)
Sail the high seas on this swinging pirate adventure as the pendulum-like motion of the swashbuckling ride provides you that feeling of complete weightlessness as it reaches an angle of 70 degrees on either side.
• Cyclone Coaster
With its dips and dives that deliver some potent G-force, this all-time classic coaster ride will give you an adrenaline-infused rush as you catapult out of the station and immediately be sent racing round the inverting loop.
Look out for Singapore’s largest collection of over 30 carnival game stalls for children and adults, with 1.2 million plush toys up for grabs.
Catch youth band and DJ performances, ventriloquism acts, carolling groups and even fitness activities on the carnival ground. Homegrown musicians such as pop punk artiste Falling Feathers, petite powerhouse Kexin Tay, hip-hop rapper TheLionCityBoy and rising star Jasmine Sokko will also be performing.
FOOD & DRINKS
Fuel up on fairground favourites like curly fries, sizzling sausages, warm melted raclette, churros and freshly popped buttery popcorn in between rides and games. For the intrepid gourmand, there are Michelin-starred offerings as well as gourmet burgers, hotdogs and an array of Japanese treats. Local foodies can expect favourites such as Cendol Soft Serve and Lemongrass Chicken Rice Bowls.
