Lauded by Condé Nast Traveller UK as “World’s Top Beach Bar”, Tanjong Beach Club is a serene sanctuary located on Tanjong Beach, arguably Singapore’s best strip of sand. Celebrating the sun, sand and sea in style, the free-spirited club is modelled after a 1950s beach resort and offers panoramic views amidst calm waters, a sprawling white beachfront and skies awash in dusky hues at sunset. It houses a restaurant, two bars and an infinity pool.
On weekdays, the club is a peaceful hideaway from Singapore’s concrete jungle, but on weekends, it transforms into a carefree party destination.
Golden Tan & Glorious Sunsets
The club has a variety of spaces where sun lovers can work on their tan or take in one of the best sunsets in Singapore. The pool lounge area has comfy sofas and chairs, the poolside has daybeds, while the beachfront has deck chairs, sun loungers as well as daybeds.
For a tipple to go with the tan, the bar offers a comprehensive range of wines and spirits along with a unique cocktail list featuring tropical reinterpretations of classic cocktails and summer fruit libations.
Escape the heat with beach favourite Piña Colada (ice-blended rum, pineapple juice and coconut cream served in a pineapple) or the Summer Sangria (apple, strawberry and orange macerated in red wine, lemonade and vanilla).
Modern Coastal Dining
The restaurant offers a modern, playful take on shoreside dining. The menu features thoughtfully sourced ingredients, marrying the freshest seafood with wholesome flavours that celebrate international coastal cuisine.
Light bites include Snapper Ceviche, a mix of snapper, tangy lime and creamy avocado with a side of crisp tortilla chips; and Barbecued Octopus Salad, comprising tenderly charred octopus tentacle, baby spinach, pomegranate and a douse of sherry vinaigrette.
For something heartier, there’s the Lobster Bun, with two halves of fluffy freshly baked burger buns sandwiching steamed Maine lobster mixed in lime mayonnaise and buttery avocado; or the Market Fresh Fish of the Day which comes with a tomato and pine nut salsa, atop a bed of basil emulsion.

The club also serves a family-friendly weekend brunch comprising signatures such as the sweet, fruity Acai Bowl, a meticulously blended base of organic Acai berries, banana and apricot, topped with fresh blueberries and mango, sweet Inca berry confit, toasted coconut and crunchy hazelnut granola; and the irresistible Eggs & Ham, made up of fluffy black truffle scrambled eggs, Spanish jamón ibérico and sourdough toast, sprinkled with Italian black truffle slices.
