To learn more about Singapore and what makes it tick in a fun and interactive way, head for the S’pore Discovery Centre at 510 Upper Jurong Road, a 10-minute walk from Joo Koon MRT Station.

Walk through the Gateway, So Singapore Theatre, Singapore Works and Singapore Way (featuring Dream Lab, WoW! Wall of Wonders, Visionarium Design Studio and SDC Times) exhibits to discover what makes Singapore unique and get insights into the country’s challenges, dreams and aspirations.

Three new Singapore Stories films to catch from 1 July:
1. Buying Back Grace
A story of fatherly love, forgiveness and resilience, the film tells the true-life account of a father’s desperation to redeem his newborn baby girl who was sold by his wife to settle her gambling debts.
2. Sleep Well, Mother
This heart-warming film portrays the endearing relationship between a mother and her son who has Down syndrome.
3. O Meri Jaane Jaan
This dramedy, fantasy musical film is about a Chinese girl who gets trapped in a Bollywood musical and must escape before she becomes part of the movie. Through her adventure, she learns to respect people from different races as well as their cultures.
• Pedal Boat
Rent a pedal boat for a leisure ride around the Centre’s Discovery Lake. The boats are only available on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
• Crossfire Paintball
Experience the thrills, spills and splatters of Crossfire Paintball at Singapore’s first multi-tiered Paintball Arena.
• Guided Tours
Join the tours (available at regular intervals) to experience the unique Singapore way of life and understand the country’s rich tapestry of cultures and traditions.
• Bus Tour
Hop on the SAFTI bus for a tour of the SAFTI Military Institute, a 98-hectare training ground for officers from Singapore’s Army, Navy and Airforce.
